Please contact us at (281) 298-5522 before beginning any improvements to commercial or residential property, in order to determine permitting requirements. The Community Development Department is responsible for issuing development permits and performing residential and commercial inspections for new construction or renovations to existing structures.

The City has adopted building codes and standards that may apply to any improvements being performed. Check with the department staff regarding local requirements.
